State and County Special Assistance provides a cash supplement to low income individuals to help pay for room and board in residential facilities. These facilities include:

Adult care homes
Family care homes
Group homes

State-County Special Assistance, In Home (Help to Stay in Your Home)

The State/County Special Assistance In-Home Program for Adults (SA/IH) provides a cash supplement to low-income individuals who are at risk of entering a residential facility. SA/IH provides additional support services and income to individuals who would prefer to live at home.
