Types of Medical Assistance Programs
Medicaid or Health Choice may be available to people who are:
- Age 65 or older
- Blind or disabled
- Pregnant
- Diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer
- Infants and children under the age of 21
- Low-income individuals and families
- In need of long-term care (skilled nursing or in-home services)
- Receiving Medicare

How To Provide Recertification Verifications
The Division of Health Benefits (DHB) has been advised by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that all beneficiaries must be able to complete the renewal and provide verifications required for recertification electronically during the Continuous Coverage Unwinding (CCU). This central email address will be utilized for non-MAGI beneficiaries to be able to email their verifications required at recertification.
The beneficiary may email their non-MAGI verifications to the central email address below.
Low Cost Health Insurance
For those ineligible for Medicaid or Health Choice, you may be eligible to buy insurance at a reduced rate through the Federal Marketplace

Extra Help With Medicare Prescription Drug Plan Costs
You may be able to get extra help to pay for the monthly premiums, annual deductibles, and co-payments related to the Medicare Prescription Drug program. However, you must be enrolled in a Medicare Prescription Drug plan to get this extra help.
