Here are some of our fund raisers:
- Share the Magic- For years our Children with Special Needs Fund was the
recipient of the Hendersonville Business and Merchants Association's fundraiser,
"Share the Magic." Monies raised supplement our Children's Fund, 100% of which
goes directly to supply needs of abused and neglected children for whom there
is no other resource. - Toy Run- Henderson County Law Enforcement, area motorcyclists, Christians
of Henderson County, and Fletcher Parks and Recreation sponsored the fifth
annual Toy Run every year. The Toy Run benefits abused, neglected, and
dependent children. - Holiday Activities- Our foster children, needy families and elderly/disabled
received food and gifts during the holidays through the generosity of The
Community Foundation, The Salvation Army, the Toy Run, Civic, business, and
church groups and individuals. These are only the highlights of the outpouring
of donations and services offered by our caring community, especially during
the holidays. - Spectrum Youth Home- You can also assist the youth home by providing
tickets for community events, and movies or tutoring for the children. Also, we're
always accepting recreational items for the children such as board games, sports
equipment, age appropriate videos, school supplies, etc..
